SHOE UPGRADES AVAILABLE!

This week we picked up where store purchases left off and got shoe upgrades working. With 2, 3, and 4x speed upgrades you can go faster and cover more area in less time. It's a bit crude at the moment but with our priority to get all upgrades working first, we decided to leave it as is and polish as we go. Let us know how it feels and you think we should make them faster?

You can see the Plus and Deluxe upgrades in the Inventory window screenshot above. Interesingly enough, we got all of them working behind the scenes but only had enough time to fully test shoes. In the coming weeks we'll continue with the bag, shovel, and detector. Stay tuned!

SIX MONTH ANNIVERSARY

Hard to believe it's been that long. Time flies!! It was not long ago we hit pause on our Star Kingdom GT game to embark on this venture to see how it would go. Six months later, here we are, further than expected but not as much as we hoped.

Originally we were going to appraise Can You Dig It? to see if it was worth continuing. The crossroads we waited on arrived sooner than anticipated. I'm honestly torn between both.

It's a toss-up but feels right to continue in this direction and fall back to making Star Kingdom GT a side project until our next milestone deadline in November, since it's all about maintentence at the moment. We'll hit the one year mark by that point, see where we're at, and find out if to switch gears with our space game or keep going with this one. Gut feeling... we'll probably keep going. :)

Looking ahead, we're also annoucing a NEW project (so many, I know). CalorieRPG is a fitness tracking role-playing game that urges you to track when you eat and work out, giving you points for it, and then leveling up your character as you go. Your character will evolve as you do.

It's a fun way to keep track of your fitness goals and we're excited to share it with you. Another feature is to have your character encourage you, help remind of when it's time to weigh-in, and make suggestions about your diet and workouts. For Monarch Games, this will be our forever long-term project, all others, including Task Tracker and Can You Dig It? will be secondary.

It was developed years ago and it's used every day for years. It works! I've lost 80lbs. using it and can't live without the app. One doctor I spoke to was willing to endorse it given the trials and results witnessed first hand! The biggest challenge will be getting your feedback, will it work for you? Will it be fun? Will it help to keep you motivated? We'll find out soon enough.

TASK TRACKER TEAMS AVAILABLE!

Last but not least, we updated Task Tracker Pro to allow friend invites to join your project. You can also email them if they're not available. This is a big step for us as we're hoping to make it easier than ever to create teams to keep track of goals on a weekly or daily basis.

Here you can see one of three modes: FULL, EDIT, and VIEW. Full gives you total control, Edit allows you to edit tasks, and View allows you to see the tasks including the hidden. This is a great chance to collaborate with someone you know on a small project or a big one. Sign up, create a project, and invite a friend!

In the project summary, you can see ones you've created and those you're invited to. It's a great way to share responsibility and help others. A major step toward accomplishing your goals is allow others to be part of your journey each step of the way.

Document Mode also got an upgrade with links! You can paste a web address into your log description, highlight it, and with a click turn your selection into a hyperlink. Register, log in, and try it yourself!
